ABOUT GETCHNAH

GETCHNAH is a multifaceted artist—rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, director, and audio engineer. As a first-generation child of Sri Lankan refugees and the foster care community, she aims to provide inspiring representation while sharing her story to uplift others through her music. Growing up her parents and sisters were her biggest influences, and from the age of four, she captivated her family with her performances. When she lost her parents and eldest sister in a tragic event at the age of nine, she vowed that her passion for music would not end with their death. Now celebrated for her dynamic, dance-filled live performances and notably opened for Grammy winning artist KOFFEE. Her unique fusion of genres—including Rap, EDM, R&B, with South Asian influences, GETCHNAH continues to inspire through her artistry.
