GETCHNAH is a multidisciplinary artist—rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, director, and audio engineer. She brings bold vision and fierce energy to everything she creates. As a first-generation child of Sri Lankan refugees and the foster care community, her artistry is rooted in resilience, cultural fusion, and representation. Her work blends Rap, EDM, R&B, and South Asian musical influences, forming a genre-bending sound that reflects both her heritage and her innovation.

Known for her high-energy, dance-driven performances, GETCHNAH has graced major stages across Toronto, including the Axis Theatre, Phoenix Concert Theatre, and TD Music Hall. She opened for Grammy Award-winning artist KOFFEE at MNFSTO and has been a featured performer at Pride Toronto since 2022. With six singles and an EP titled Gem-In-i, she is currently finalizing her debut full-length album, anticipated for release in 2026.

Despite facing significant early-life adversities, such as growing up in government housing projects—GETCHNAH has transformed hardship into artistic purpose. Her early love for performance began at just four years old and continues to drive her forward today. Her inspirations span from her late family members to global icons like Prabhu Deva, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Rihanna, CL, and Aaliyah.
